Naya Rivera is in love and cannot stop gushing about her upcoming nuptials to rapper Big Sean.
At co-star Lea Michele’s Chrysalis Shopping Event at Switch Boutique in Beverly Hills, the “Glee” star said looking for the perfect gown has been going “really well” but that she has not found it just yet.
“It’s fun. It’s obviously something that I’ve never done before, but it’s so fun,” she told People magazine. “It’s that Cinderella, princess moment, and I went around with my friends, my mom, and it just felt amazing to try on all those gowns.”
The 26-year-old said she is not the only one planning for the big day. She said Big Sean – whose full name is Sean Anderson – is taking a very active role.
“He’s so involved,” Rivera said. “We definitely bounce things off each other (and) we’re always on the same page about everything, which is probably why we’re getting married.”
But that at the end of the day, “he knows ‘happy wife, happy life’.”
“So, he’s kind of like, ‘Whatever you want, babe!’” Rivera said, adding that they are really looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together.
Rivera confirmed her engagement to the 25-year-old rapper in early October shortly after she was seen sporting a sizable engagement ring on the red carpet of Latina magazine’s “Hollywood Hot List.”
The couple first stepped out together in April while they attended a movie premiere at Hollywood’s Chinese Theater. They said they met on Twitter, and are not shy about expressing their feelings for each other on social media.
