It is a good thing Justin Bieber was a no show at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards -- it certainly would have made things awkward for his ex, Selena Gomez.
Stealing the show on the teal carpet in a curve-hugging double slit dress, Gomez took home two awards on Sunday night, including the surfboard for “Choice Female Hottie.”
But it was her other award that probably rubbed Bieber the wrong way.
Fans voted Gomez’s hit single, "Come and Get It,” which was likely inspired by the Biebs, as their “Choice Break-Up Song.”
While Gomez walked away with a duo of awards, her best friend Demi Lovato also proved to be a fan favorite.
Lovato won four awards, including Choice Female TV Personality for her gig on “The X Factor,” along with Choice Female Artist and Choice Single for “Heart Attack.”
Lovato, who performed her latest track, “Made in the USA,” at the ceremony, also received recognition for her wardrobe choices as she was named Candie's “Choice Style Icon.”
