After she was apparently up all night tweeting, Amanda Bynes appeared in court early Tuesday morning  to face allegations that she tossed a marijuana bong from the window of her 36th floor Manhattan apartment.

The 27-year-old actress is charged with reckless endangerment and attempted tampering with physical evidence.

She remained silent in court and the judge postponed the hearing until Sept. 26.

Bynes, who frequently tweets, however, was not quiet this morning on Twitter. She posted a series of messages on the social media site in the early hours of Tuesday morning, including one sent at about 5 a.m. In her tweets, she wrote about her recent plastic surgery.

At about 8 a.m., she discussed another one of her favorite topics: rapper Drake. She wrote: "Drake Has An Ugly Face." She later deleted the post.

Her messages made no mention of her court appearance, but the actress arrived at the Manhattan courthouse shortly after it opened wearing a turquoise wig and big sunglasses.

Bynes was arrested in May after building officials called police to complain she was rolling a joint and smoking pot in the lobby. Officers went to her apartment where they say they saw heavy smoke and a bong sitting on the kitchen counter. Prosecutors say she tossed the bong out the window in front of the officers.

Following the incident, the actress alleged that her arresting officers sexually assaulted her. She claimed, via Twitter, that two officers groped her and that one “slapped my vagina.”

The NYPD investigated Bynes' allegations but found no evidence to support her claim. Regardless, the actress declared on Twitter that she plans to sue the NYPD.

Bynes rose to fame starring in Nickelodeon's "All That." She also starred in 2010's "Easy A." But she has been in the news more recently because of several scrapes with the law and bizarre public behavior.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
