'Big Brother' cast members caught on camera making racist comments

Three members of the “Big Brother” cast have come under internet fire this week after they were caught on camera making racist and offensive comments.

The comments, made by Aaryn, GinaMarie and Spencer, were captured by the show’s 24/7 internet live-feed cameras, which give super fans access to the “Big Brother” house at any given moment.  Fans of the series need a subscription to view the 24/7 live feed.

According to TMZ, Houseguest Aaryn was caught calling gay contestant Andy a “queer” and Spencer referred to him as “Kermit the f*g.” GinaMarie was recorded using the N-word.

CBS has released a statement about the comments caught on film, clarifying that they do not condone racist behavior.

“Big Brother is a reality show about watching a group of people who have no privacy 24/7 — and seeing every moment of their lives.  At times, the Houseguests reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone,” the network told Entertainment Weekly. “We certainly find the statements made by several of the Houseguests on the live Internet feed to be offensive.  Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by a Houseguest appearing on Big Brother, either on any live feed from the House or during the broadcast, are those of the individual(s) speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program.”

“Big Brother” airs three times a week on CBS, and some fan websites are calling for the show to eliminate the offending cast members. The network has not indicated whether or not the show will address the controversy in the upcoming episodes.

Still, one company has already dropped Aaryn from their roster. The modeling agency Zephyr Talent announced, after seeing the live feed comments, they would no longer represent the blonde beauty.

"We certainly find the statements made by Aaryn on the live Internet feed to be offensive," the agency told TMZ. "Upon much consideration, we have decided to release Aaryn from her contract with Zephyr Talent."
