The Paula Deen racism scandal is having a serious impact on the TV chef's book sales.

In a good way.

On Wednesday, we told you that Deen's cookbook “Paula Deen’s New Testament: 250 Favorite Recipes, All Lightened Up” had gone from a ranking in the 1,500s on Monday all the way to No. 18 on Wednesday on the online bookseller Amazon.com.

Today, it is No. 1.

And its not even out until October.

More On This...

Another Deen book, "Paula Deen's Southern Cooking Bible," was at No. 13. Several other Deen books were out of stock.

Deen was dumped by the Food Network, Caesars Entertainment, Smithfield Foods, and Walmart, after it was revealed she admitted in a sworn deposition in May to using the N-word decades ago.

Several other companies affiliated with Deen have stood by the star.

As have her book buyers.
