It's a wonder that Penelope Cruz hasn't yet played a Bond girl. She's the quintessential choice for the role, being breathtaking, talented and refined. And it doesn't hurt that she's got a charming Spanish accent, either.
But it's never too late to step into the (probably) high-heeled shoes of 007's latest ladyfriend. Cruz, who turns 40 next April, is reportedly set to star in the next installment of the Bond franchise alongside Daniel Craig, making her the oldest Bond girl to ever grace the screen — a record formerly held by Honor Blackman, who starred as Pussy Galore in the 1962 film "Goldfinger." She'll also be joining husband Javier Bardem — who portrayed a villain in 2012's "Skyfall" — as a Bond veteran.
We'd like to hear from all you Bond fans out there. Is Cruz a good choice?
