Brad Pitt's much anticipated zombie flick "World War Z" is set to premiere this weekend and word is that his leading lady, Angelina Jolie, will make her first public appearance since she revealed she had a double mastectomy at the film's screening.
Jolie is set to be by Pitt's side at the London premiere of the film, according to E! News.
The actress shocked many when she penned an op-ed in the New York Times to announce she had a preventative double mastectomy after she learned she had the BRCA1 gene, which gave her a strong chance of getting breast cancer.
The 37-year-old Jolie said in her op-ed that her doctors estimated that she had a 50 percent risk of getting ovarian cancer but an 87 percent risk of breast cancer so she had her breasts removed first, reducing her likelihood to a mere 5 percent.
She is reportedly planning to have her ovaries removed at a later date.
She described the three-step surgical process in detail in the op-ed "because I hope that other women can benefit from my experience."
Less than two weeks after Angelina Jolie revealed she'd had a double mastectomy to avoid breast cancer, her aunt died from the disease Sunday.
Debbie Martin was the younger sister of Jolie's mother, Marcheline Bertrand, whose own death from ovarian cancer in 2007 inspired Jolie's surgery.
