On the verge of becoming the first billionaire Super Model, Gisele Bundchen has done it all --from haute couture to Victoria's Secret to NFL wife.
Even the seemingly flawless Gisele Bündchen has an imperfection or two — which the Brazilian supermodel embraces wholeheartedly.
Working in an industry prone to erasing every wrinkle or crease with the help of Photoshop, Bündchen is on a mission to help all women understand that “our imperfections are what make us unique and beautiful.”
While speaking to the fashion blog Fashionista about her new ad campaign for BLK DMN, which was shot without any kind of makeup, professional hairdressing or photo retouching, the statuesque beauty talked about the evolution of the fashion industry.
“I feel like women should be really real and raw and it doesn’t happen anymore [in fashion photographs],” Bündchen said.
Speaking about the photographer who created the unconventional approach of her latest campaign, the mother of two said Johan Lindeberg is “not trying to retouch you or put a pretty light on you. He’s not like ‘you gotta look a certain way.’ He’s like, ‘you are you’ so now I’m gonna just be here with a camera, so express yourself how you like.”
According to Women's Wear Daily, Bündchen posed in a series of 25 yet-to-be-released portraits for BLK’s “Wild”campaign sans makeup, barefoot and topless.
With or without makeup, Bündchen is set to become the world's first billionaire supermodel.
As Forbes reported last year, the 32-year-old has earned roughly $250 million over the last decade.
