Justin Bieber may be trying to look like a tough guy these days, but his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez joked that the Biebs is just a big softy at heart.
Though he’s been spotted around town flashing gang signs and taking off his shirt in freezing weather, Bieber is just like any other 19-year-old guy (OK maybe girl) getting over a breakup.
During Gomez’s appearance Monday night on the “Late Show with David Letterman” she showed her quick wit and sense of humor when Letterman brought up her super famous ex.
The talk show host joked that he once made Bieber cry when he appeared on the “Late Show.”
Without missing a beat, Gomez quipped: “Well then that makes two of us.”
The audience roared with laughter and cheered when the Disney-gal-turned-racy-film-star confirmed that she is no longer linked to the Biebs.
“No, I am single,” she said when asked if they were still together. “I am so good.”
