Whitney Houston, who ruled as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, died Saturday in Beverly Hills. She was 48.
There are plenty of people clamoring to read Cissy Houston's tell-all about her daughter Whitney Houston — but Whitney's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, isn't among them. In fact, she says she and her boyfriend Nick Gordon want "nothing to do with it."
"ANYTHING concerning my grandmothers Book. I & Nick Gordon OF COURSE personally have NOTHING 2 do with. I ask you [please] RESPECT that. Haven't read & won't," Brown tweeted on Jan. 31.

She later added: "I find it [to be] Disrespect 2 MY MOTHER & me being HER DAUGHTER won't tolerate it. I LOVE YOU ALL for your support though & I thank you immensely xO!"
During an interview with Oprah Winfrey last week, Cissy Houston acknowledged that she had heard that her granddaughter didn't want her to write the book, which addresses Whitney's drug use and the lesbian rumors that swirled around her relationship with a former assistant.
