The new Mercedes-Benz spokesmodel doesn’t have a car.
But that doesn’t seem to matter, because she is Kate Upton.
“I don’t even have a car. I live in New York. Actually, that’s probably the most embarrassing thing—that I don’t have a car. Maybe Mercedes can help me out with that,” she joked in an interview with Vanity Fair. “I feel like I know some people there or something.”
And even though she isn’t a vehicle owner, that doesn’t stop her from having strong feelings about the Mercedes CLA, a car she is advertising in her Super Bowl commercial debut.
“I love the car because it’s really sporty and high quality, just like all Mercedes cars. But now it’s at an affordable price, so I think it’s really amazing that they did that.”
Upton’s sexy teaser for the ad, titled “Kate Upton washes the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA in slow motion,” has already gotten more than 5 million views on YouTube.
“I think that the whole set was just fun,” she said of the ad. “I really enjoyed shooting for them, because everyone just had a good time and everyone was so connected. I make sure to have a good time on every set.”
