Lady Gaga took to Twitter to express her condolences for those affected by the nightclub tragedy in Brazil, and for the family of one her fans, who she calls little monsters, who perished in the fire.

Just days after a tore tore through a Brazilian hotspot, Kiss, in the city of Santa Maria on Saturday, killing over 230 young college students, celebrities went on Twitter to express their condolences.

Mother Monster seemed deeply moved by the incident and even posted a photo of her praying for the victims. She re-tweeted one of her fans, who goes as @gaga_mylife, when the little girl asked the flamboyant singer to pray for Luiz Felipe, a fan who died in the fire.

“My heart is with you Brazil,” Gaga wrote on her Twitter.

“Sending my prayers to the families and friends who lost loved one (sic) in the fire in Brazil. I’m thinking of you today during this tragedy,” she added.

Singer Demi Lovato also took to her social media account to write her thoughts on the incident.

“So sad to hear about the nightclub fire in Brazil. Such a tragedy. Praying for everyone affected down there,” she wrote.

Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen, who grew up in Santa Maria’s neighboring city of Horizontina, was overwhelmed about what took place in her native home country.

“My heart and prayers go out to the families and victims of Santa Maria-RS Brazil,” she wrote.

She followed that tweet with another post wishing all the victims and families involved “much love, strength and light especially for Santa Maria!” along with a peaceful photo of her by a beach and looking ahead with the sunset behind her.

Most of the victims died from smoke inhalation rather than burns. Four people have been arrested in connection to the fire, which apparently broke out after a band used pyrotechnics during their show.
