Lindsay Lohan staying in on New Year's Eve, won't see The Wanted, reports say

She started as a promising child star, but nobody could have predicted how things would go from there.  

NEW YORK – Lindsay Lohan has reportedly flown to London to ring in the New Year and see her boy band crush, Max George of The Wanted.

But unfortunately for her, the band is in New York and is set to perform tonight on “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”

E! Online reported LiLo arrived at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Saturday, wearing a long fur coat and big sunglasses. Sources told E! she was in the U.K. to visit George, but it’s unclear if the two saw each other before he headed to New York.

"She likes him and he likes her, but nothing has come of it," the source told E!

Lohan will have a low key New Year’s in any case, according to TMZ. The party girl will celebrate in her a hotel room in London with family and friends, the website reported.

Lindsay has been keeping a low profile since her Nov. 29 arrest in Manhattan.

Earlier this month, Lohan’s probation was revoked in a Los Angeles court, and she is facing up to eight months in jail, which does not include additional jail time if she is convicted in her June car accident case.

Sources told TMZ the actress is trying to stay out of trouble to make a good impression on the judge hearing her case.
