Bruno Mars proved he has the chops to be a professional funnyman on “Saturday Night Live.”

The part Puerto Rican singer, whose real name is Peter Gene Hernández, impersonated multiple artists such as Katy Perry, Steven Tyler from Aerosmith, and the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson.

Bruno Mars also preformed two of his new songs “Young Girls” and “Locked Out of Heaven” from his latest album “Unorthodox Jukebox,” which is set to be released on Dec. 11.

According to the The Hollywood Reporter, “SNL” had one of its best ratings of the season thanks to Mars’ sketches "pulling a 5.4 rating and 14 share in metered market households."

The publication added that the last time the show saw ratings this high wee when troubled actress Lindsay Lohan hosted the show back in March.

Other memorable skits throughout the evening included a spoof of the second presidential debate which took place in Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.

This is not the first time Bruno Mars gets people talking while being in a popular TV show.
Last year the singer took to Sesame Street to spread his message about staying positive and he had the help of some cute children's characters.

“When you want to do something that’s new, and it seems it’s really hard to do, you feel like quitting, you feel you’re through," Mars says. "Well, I got some advice for you: don’t give up.” Elmo, Rosita, Zoe and Cookie Monster all chime in as background singers.
