Country trio Gloriana send out their second studio album this week “A Thousand Miles Left Behind.” The current single off that album “(Kissed You) Good Night” has already hit #2 on the Billboard Country Singles Chart and it’s also our featured song of the week!

Country music group Little Big Town were in NYC for the CMA Songwriters series at Joe’s Pub Aug. 1.  They were joined on stage by songwriters Natalie Hemby and Bob DiPiero for a night of story-telling and hit-playing.  Fox 411 Country was on hand.  We share our snapshots from the jam session in the Fox 411 Country Round-up.

Plus we share some photos from the 51st Annual IAFF Convention as former American Idol contestant Bucky Covington was honored for his work with Help The Good Guys and the IAFF Charitable Fund.  The International Association of Fire Fighters President Harold Schaitberger surprised Covington with a personalized helmet to thank him. Covington releases his sophomore album September 11th with a portion of the proceeds from the first week sales benefitting the Foundation.

We also have Miranda Lamberts new music video for “Fastest Girl in Town” featuring Danica Patrick! The two race through scenes that include playing pool, stealing cars, and more.  The song is off Lambert’s latest album “Four The Record” and may be featured center stage as she continues her “On Fire” Tour through September.

Find that and more in this week’s Fox 411 Country Round-up!
