The alleged shooter behind the massacre at a midnight movie was obsessed with a popular pin-up girl for a British newspaper, that paper reports.

James Holmes posed online with a photo of Keeley Hazell, 25, a model for The Sun's Page 3 section, before the slaughter in Aurora, Colorado.

Hazell told The Sun: “I’m horrified.”

It was also revealed the assault rifle used by the maniac during his sickening cinema spree during a screening of "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises" jammed during the attack.

The malfunction forced deranged James Holmes to switch to another gun with less fire power.

The disabled weapon had a high-capacity 100-round drum magazine allowing the weapon to fire 50 to 60 rounds a minute.

And, as police said Holmes planned the attack with “calculation and deliberation,” footage has emerged showing him at a science camp in San Diego.

Taken six years ago when he was 18, it shows the teen giving a presentation.

Looking visibly nervous in front of an audience Holmes delivers a speech on the subject of Temporal Illusions.

Go to The Sun for the full report and the original photo of Hazell that Holmes posed with.
