Sofia Vergara Flaunts Freedom Post Loeb Split

Sofía Vergara may have just called it quits with boyfriend Nick Loeb, but Wednesday afternoon The Colombian stunner looked anything but upset.

The New York Post reports that a jolly Vergara was spotted (looking fabulous as usual) at a charity event at the famed Manhattan hotel The Plaza.

The tabloid says the “Modern Family” actress arrived alone in soaring heels and a fashionable navy blue and white ensemble for the National Women’s Division’s of the Albert Einsten College of Medicine’s annual Spirit of Achievement luncheon.

Vergara reportedly called it quits with businessman Nick Loeb over the weekend, The Post reported. They were together for two years.

The tabloid claims that the couple parted ways after repeated arguments. Perhaps this explains why she went solo to the prestigious Metropolitan Museum of Art’s ball Monday night.

“Sofia was confiding in friends at the ball that she and Nick have split,” sources told the publication.

“They have been fighting a lot recently and have been on the brink of splitting many times. It is not yet clear if they are over for good, but they are done as a couple for now.”

At the luncheon, Vergara didn’t hesitate to express her joy.

"I'm very happy,” she told US Weekly magazine. She then said she’s a big fan of Lorraine Schwartz’s jewelry, which she was sporting with her fitting dress.

“It’s wonderful to be here to enjoy this day with her," Vergara told the magazine.

According to US Weekly, Vergara wined, dined and was very social. She also openly accepted the Twinkie given for dessert.
