Tattoo vixen Kat Von D had quite the scare Monday night after an unknown stalker made her feel like she was in a clip straight out of the movie “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”
The former “L.A. Ink” star had cops and a helicopter rushed to her home after alerting authorities about a troubling phone call, TMZ is reporting.
Cops tell the entertainment gossip site that they arrived at the Von D's residence after she frantically called them saying that someone using an unknown number called and asked personal questions about the reality TV star. After receiving a frightening text by the same person, Von D felt her safety was in danger.
The tattoo artists claims that the unknown caller was near her home around 10:45 p.m. Monday evening. LAPD officials did not find anyone on the property.
The investigation into what happened continues.
These days, Von D is keeping busy as she gets ready to make the transition from reality star to singer/songwriter.
Recently E! News reported that the sexy tattoo artist, who called off the engagement with her man Jesse James after a cheating scandal, has been working on her first album.
"I've been passionate about music all my life," Von D told the publication. "I've been playing classical piano since I was 6.”
Von D tells E! News that she is not clueless to the process of making music because “they're just different outlets to be able to be creative.”
"I think it's much like tattooing or the TV show or makeup, my clothing line, fashion," saidVon D.
Von D says her album will be “dark” and “tragically romantic.”
