A woman accused of trying to extort the "19 Kids and Counting" reality show's parent Discovery Channel for $10,000 has been arrested, the Quad-City Times in Davenport, Iowa first reported.

Teresa Hunt said she had compromising photos of a "19 Kids and Counting" cast member, and wanted $10,000 from Discovery to keep the photos out of the press, according to court documents.

The documents did not name the Duggar family member in question, but Radaronline.com identified the woman in the photographs as Amy Duggar, the cousin of family patriarch Jim Bob Duggar.

Amy Duggar, who is single, came out with a statement saying the relationship allegations were false.

“It’s totally untrue. James is a long time family friend who has always been supportive of my music career," Amy Duggar said in a statement to Fox411.com. "He’s a good Christian and it’s upsetting that his generosity has been exploited like this.”

Hunt was arrested on February 1 after sending Discovery the alleged extortion letter, which provided details of Hunt's alleged relationship with a musician who plays in Branson, Mo., and that individual's alleged relationship with a female cast member of the show.

An undercover FBI agent posing as a Discovery employee replied to Hunt's letter, the report said. Hunt, who said she was a professional photographer, then emailed three photos to the agent.

Hunt's letter also said the Duggars "claim to be so Christian so they keep popping out more babies to keep their ratings up," according to court documents.

Hunt said in her email that the musician in question “owes me money” and that she had no reason to hurt the cast member “except that’s she’s on a reality show and pretends to be a right-wing Christian and she’s sleeping with a 56-year-old man.”

"19 Kids and Counting" has been a hit show on Discovery's sister network TLC since 2008. It follows the extended family of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who have 19 children.
