With the holidays behind us and a new year underway, many of us are left feeling daunted by the battle of the bulge. But "Biggest Loser" trainer Dolvett Quince has some simple advice for getting started: be accountable.
In an interview with "FoxNews.com Live," Quince tells host Ashley Dvorkin that the most important thing you can do is to write down what you eat.
"The first thing I recommend if you're starting a new routine is write down what you're eating. Take responsibility," he said. "If you write down, you take ownership of it. Pay attention to that."
Quince also suggested watching portion sizes and setting an alarm clock to eat at a certain time during the day.
"Lastly, always always always put some activity into your day," he stressed. "Start your morning by walking, start your night by jogging, but put some kind of activity in your day before you go to bed."
