Angelina Jolie Starving Herself for a Cause, Report Says

It seems like Angelina can do it all. 

Angelina Jolie is reportedly starving herself to make a statement, according to Us magazine.

The actress and director, who has been making the rounds promoting her new film “In the Land of Blood and Honey,” is reportedly engaging in some dangerous habits that has her partner Brad Pitt concerned.

“He’s worried about her and has made her see a zillion doctors,” Us quoted a source as saying. “But they keep telling her she’s fine.”

But while most stars are rumored to starve themselves in order to keep their figures up to Hollywood standards, Us reports that Jolie is doing so to send a message.

The U.N. Goodwill ambassador is said to be so concerned with the plight of the poor around the world that she reportedly partakes in extreme fasts in sympathy.

A source is quoted in the magazine as saying, “She says, ‘If they can’t eat, I can’t eat’” as she partakes in “different cleanses from around the world. It’s very dramatic but that’s how she gets.”
