She ain't too proud to beg. T-Boz from the hit '90s girl group TLC has filed for bankruptcy, TMZ reports.
The now 41-year-old star -- whose real name is Tionne Watkins -- owed creditors $768,642.99, mostly from mortgages on her $1.2 million house, according to documents filed last month in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
The documents also reveal that T-Boz earns $11,700/month in income ($1,200/month in royalties), with monthly expenses totaling $8,821, TMZ reports. She also claims that she is owed $250,000 in child support (she has an 11-year-old daughter with her ex-husband, rapper Mack 10.)
T-Boz was the lead singer of the hugely popular hip-hop/R & B trio, which also included Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes (who died in a tragic accident at age 30) and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. Known for hits like "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg," "Creep" and "Waterfalls," the group had ten Top 10 singles, four multiplatinum albums and four Grammy Awards.
