The holidays are always better with some bling, and to help the cause, mom-to-be Jessica Simpson has been busy creating a collection of diamond jewelry for Zales. 

“Diamonds are a girl’s best friend!” Simpson tells exclusively. “Jewelry is such personal expression of style and taste, and this collection with Zales has allowed me to create pieces that truly reflect who I am, and that can become a keepsake for lifetime.”

It was important for Simpson’s designs to be accessible, and with prices starting at $80 for a sterling silver and diamond ring, the singer hopes everyone can shine this season. “Our customer might live in jeans and a t-shirt, but she loves a little sparkle too,” she says.

The Jessica Simpson collection features pendant designs that are inspired by Simpson’s own handwriting. One of her favorites is the butterfly pendant in rose gold. “It is so feminine and, to me, symbolizes a free-spirit,” said Simpson about the necklace, which retails for $1180.

Simpson’s other favorite is the diamond cross pendant in white gold. “The cross is very special to me and my faith,” said Simpson of the $350 necklace.

Meanwhile, the traditional scents of frankincense and myrrh seem to have been replaced by Usher and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi this Christmas.

No fewer than two dozen celebrities have their own signature fragrances–including the pint-sized star of MTV’s “Jersey Shore.” Polizzi launched Snooki by Nicole Polizzi on HSN’s “A Very Snooki Holiday Gift Special” on November 15.

"It was incredible–her entire perfume line sold out in under two hours,” an insider tells “The phone lines were just jammed with people calling in. Snooki sold over 8300 units of the fragrance–that’s about 125 per minute.”

The self-described “boss lady” said, “I’m obsessed with my fragrance, because it’s so me.” Snooki by Nicole Polizzi retails for $45 and is available at Perfumania stores nationwide.

Country cutie Taylor Swift recently introduced her signature fragrance, Wonderstruck. “Wearing perfume is such a unique way to create memories,” says the Grammy winning singer and songwriter. “Like songs, a scent can take you back and allow you to relive a moment in time.”

The Wonderstruck collection ranges from $25-60.

“I believe that all women can create their own world where they shine the brightest,” Spears said of her 10th fragrance, Cosmic Radiance. “It’s all about having the power and confidence to be yourself. When I wear my new scent... I feel beautiful, empowered and sexy.”

The Cosmic Radiance line retails for $40-60.

Those who have a Mariah Carey fan on their shopping list have a wealth of gifts to choose from. The chanteuse got started in 2007 with her first fragrance, M. The best-selling fragrance is now one of half a dozen Carey has produced–including her latest, Forever.

Forever was inspired by the moment Carey fell in love with her husband, Nick Cannon. “In sharing this fragrance with her fans, Mariah reveals to the world how over the past three years, marriage and motherhood have changed her perception of love,” a rep said in a statement. “(Forever) reflects the beauty and seductiveness a woman radiates when she is in love.”

The Forever line ranges from $20-65.

In addition to perfume, Carey has a jewelry line that is inspired by, of all things, vintage classics. “It always seems that if you have an amazing vintage Cartier bracelet or a signed Tiffany piece, you can’t go wrong,” she said. “You just can’t do the same type of filigree work anymore. A lot of that inspired my own pieces. They have a modern twist, but that’s my natural inclination.” The collection ranges from $40-200, and is available on

Carey’s freewheeling live segments on the HSN shopping channel have developed something of a cult following, inspiring countless spoofs and remixes on YouTube. “The best thing is that all the people on the Internet get to edit this and cut it together will have so much fun,”  Carey said during a HSN hosting segment last month. 

But Carey has a message her mean-spirited mockers this holiday season, “The people outside that are editing this, they don’t know how it feels,” she said, flipping her hair and pointing out her earpiece. “You try putting one of these things in your ear and try and work it out!”
