Actress Anne Hathaway is engaged to her boyfriend Adam Shulman after three years of dating, People magazine reported Monday.
Hathaway, 29, was spotted with her engagement bling over the weekend while she took a stroll with Shulman, 30, at a park in Brooklyn, NY.
The actress, who made a name for herself in Hollywood with her starring role in the 2001 teen romance "The Princess Diaries," began dating Shulman in November 2008.
Shulman is also an actor and played Deputy Enos Strate in the 2007 film "The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning."
"I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan. I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!" she told the celebrity magazine about her beau in August.
Hathaway's celebration comes as a welcome change from her past relationship with Raffaello Follieri, who was convicted of fraud.
She had dated the Italian real estate developer from 2004 to 2008. He is currently serving a 4-and-a-half-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to conspiracy, wire fraud, and money laundering.
