Tito Nieves has kept busy. The Puerto Rican star, who is part of the lineup at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts' Latin concerts series, spoke with FOX News Latino exclusively at the SiriusXM studios about his latest projects and what he does in his spare time.
Early on in Nieves’ music career he teamed up with Salsa pioneer Héctor Lavoe and his Orchestra “El Conjunto Clásico” in 1977.
Nieves later skyrocketed to fame as a solo artist. His became known for singing Salsa in English, with hits such as his popular 1997 song “I Like it Like That.”
The series, which kicked off with Salsa Palooza, will showcase multiple Salsa icons, such as Gilberto Santa Rosa and Olga Tañon.
