The Kardashian klan seems almost scandal proof.

Amidst calls for a boycott and fresh attacks from PETA, the Kardashian brand has remained too big to fail even in the wake of Kim’s quickie 72-day marriage. In the past two weeks alone, the family has put two new books on shelves and opened a new shop in Las Vegas amidst plenty of fan support.

The fight against the Kardashian monolith centers on a petition started two weeks ago which calls for the E! network to take the Kardashians off the air. As of late this week it had received more than 100,000 signatures.

Petition organizer Cyndy Snider told Yahoo! she was begging the network to remove the many Kardashian reality shows because: “These shows are mostly staged and place an emphasis on vanity, greed, promiscuity, vulgarity and over-the-top conspicuous consumption.”

While 100,000 may seem like an awful lot of signatures, Newsday television writer Verne Gay says that it certainly isn’t enough to have the E! network worried—yet.

“It'll make no difference to E! at all. Of course if this were to somehow hit 5 million signatures, then they'd probably take a closer look," Gay told Fox411. "But the only thing that's going to sink the Kardashians and their various and assorted programs on the network are ratings; when those go south, then so do the Ks.”

The various Kardashian programs are not currently airing new episodes, and won’t until the premiere of “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” next Sunday, at which point it will be interesting to see if fans and non-fans alike weigh in to watch how the Kardashian’s spin the unraveling of Kim’s marriage. Still, the numbers for the re-runs of the various Kardashian shows, which make up a majority of E! programming, have remained stable.

“Fans are angry, but the family has no choice but to keep going. They have a ton of projects in the fire and they plan to milk every last dollar out of them,” a family insider told Fox411.

On Thursday the Kardashians attracted yet another adversary, the animal rights group PETA, which plans to attack Kim for frequently wearing fur on a billboard in Los Angeles come December.

But amidst all the attacks and boycotts and continued rumors that Kim’s marriage to Kris Humphries was all a money grubbing scam, the family has gone on with business as usual. The elder Kardashian sisters—Kim, Khloe and Kourtney— have all loyally updated their personal blog sites within the CelebBuzz network, with Kim most recently posting cute pictures of her little sibling Kylie and her own recent visit to LA Children’s Hospital.

Kourtney and Khloe hit New York this week to promote their new novel “Dollhouse.” So far more than 19,000 fans have liked their Facebook page and the novel, about a fame-seeking Hollywood family, was number 417 on Amazon on Thursday night.

Wedding-gate doesn’t seem to be hurting sales for momager Kris Jenner either, who proceeded with her own book tour for her memoir, “Kris Jenner and All Things Kardashian,” the day after Kim’s divorce was announced.

And despite plenty of talk about brands looking to shy away from the family following all the wedding drama, they still seem eager to attach their names to the Kardashian gravy train.

“My inbox is still filled with press releases from designers saying that the Kardashians are wearing their clothes,” Fashionista.com editor Leah Chernikoff told Fox411. “It doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon.”
