Kim Kardashian Will Make Even More Money Being Newly Single, Experts Say

Kim Kardashian Blows Kiss 640

She made about $18 million off her "fairytale" wedding, and now Kim Kardashian stands to reap additional revenue from the quickie divorce she is getting from Kris Humphries after only 72 days of marriage.

Kardashian filed divorce papers in California on Monday citing irreconcilable differences, and also asked that she not have to pay alimony. If Kardashian properly capitalizes on her newly single status, she could make millions by selling her divorce story, pictures of her as a newly single woman, and driving up her appearance fees for the first parties she attends solo.

“Kim made so much money off her wedding and 72-day marriage to Kris that it will be hard to make more than that off the divorce, but Kim is smart and she will definitely try! She raked in $100,000 when she sold cute photos of her and Kris vacationing in Mexico. She made $15 million from E! for her two-part wedding special and another $3 million off wedding photos,” In Touch Weekly senior editor Dorothy Cascerceri told Fox411. “She could easily sell her first post-divorce interview for a half a million dollars or more.”

And once Kim starts dating again (which will be soon most likely), she can tip off paparazzi and sell photos of her and her new man.

“Kim Kardashian can make a profit from anything, whether she's single, engaged, married, dating a girl or a guy. The more publicity she gets, the higher in demand she is for appearances and those sort of things,” Cascerceri said. “This divorce is making her the most talked-about name in Hollywood, so companies will continue to throw money at her.”

Kardashian, 31, and Nets power forward Kris Humphries, 28, wed in August in a grandiose affair that reportedly cost nearly $10 million. The two day special “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding” continues to air repeatedly on the E! network.

Kim already makes up to $10,000 to tweet on behalf of various brands. That price tag will likely rise as more celebrity watchers tune into her Twitter stream in the midst of the divorce news. She could also sign a deal with a matchmaking site for paid tweets, similar to what Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag did when they orchestrated their faux divorce.

“Cult of Celebrity” author Cooper Lawrence added that the increased name recognition from the divorce will only drive Kim’s price tag higher.

“She will get our sympathy while garnering attention and it will raise her Q- rating and make her stock soar,” Lawrence said. “If she can stay relevant by doing shocking things -- sex tape, impulsive wedding, more impulsive divorce -- she can keep her popularity high and her bank account higher.”

Next up on Kardashian's docket is the next episode of the Kardashian reality empire, "Kourtney & Kim Take New York," which has already been filmed, and which also features her ex, Humphries.

“That show will be edited to make Kim seem like the good girl and Kris seem like the villain," one celebrity magazine editor told Fox411. "Kim will win this PR war."
