DURHAM, N.C. – Country music legend Loretta Lynn was forced to cancel a concert scheduled for Sunday in Durham, N.C., as she battles pneumonia in the hospital.
Doctors said Lynn, 76, "will continue to need rest," according to a statement on her official website.
"Loretta is doing well and is disappointed but feels confident she will be ready for upcoming November dates," the statement continued.
The singer had already canceled a performance scheduled for Saturday night in Ashland, Ky.
Tickets for Saturday's and Sunday's shows will be honored when dates are rescheduled, their respective venues said.
Lynn underwent knee replacement surgery last month, according to entertainment website TMZ.
