Pop singer Whitney Houston has been struggling to rebuild her reputation now that she claims to be completely sober. But divas will be divas, and Houston is no exception. The 48-year-old was nearly tossed off a Delta Airlines flight on Wednesday for throwing a fit and refusing to buckle her seat belt, adding her name to an already lengthy list of celebrities who've disrupted airplane flights.
Apparently the singer became upset when a flight attendant asked her to buckle up, and she refused outright to do so until the attendant threatened to have her kicked off the plane. Hearing that, Houston sat back and let the attendant buckle her seat belt for her. They let her stay on the flight.

An unnamed source told TMZ that Houston "overreacted a little bit after missing an earlier flight, but she's still 100% sober and was on the way to Detroit for her first day of shooting a new movie."
But this isn't the first time a celebrity has run into conflict with airplane crew. In fact, it almost seems like a celebrity pastime. Remember when Christian Slater tried to bring a gun with him? Or when Gerard Depardieu urinated in his seat? (He says he urinated in a bottle and it spilled, but who knows.)
