Monday night's "Men," with new star Ashton Kutcher, drew 20.3 million viewers.
The hype over Sheen's ouster and the addition of Kutcher to the cast was credited with delivering an all-time record of 27.7 million viewers for the CBS series' season premiere last week.
Monday's episode was still the most-watched show of the night, and drew about 50 percent more viewers than the second episode of last year's season.
Sheen, 46, was booted from "Two and a Half Men" in March due to his hard-partying ways and his loose-lipped rants against show creator Chuck Lorre.
The actor sued the show's production company, Warner Bros., for wrongful termination and reached a settlement Monday for an undisclosed amount.
