LOS ANGELES -- Former "America's Best Dance Crew" judge Shane Sparks on Tuesday pleaded no contest to one count of having sex with a minor under 16, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The 42-year-old MTV personality had faced eight felonies connected to alleged sex acts, but the other counts were dismissed under a plea deal with prosecutors.
Sparks will serve 270 days in jail and was placed on five years' probation. He will also have to attend 52 sex-offender counseling sessions and is prohibited from going near any female minors without an adult being present, the Times reported.
The dance choreographer, who also previously worked on "So You Think You Can Dance," was arrested in December 2009, after being accused of committing multiple sexual acts upon a girl aged under 14.
