She's the sister to the Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, but she's carved out an identity that's all her own.
Pippa Middleton is hoping to patch things up with on-off boyfriend Alex Loudon -- on the Caribbean island where her sister, Catherine, wooed Prince William after they split, The Sun reported Tuesday.
Middleton, 27, is taking Loudon, 30, to romantic and private Mustique later this month so they can enjoy time alone out of the spotlight.
She and Loudon came under "huge strain" following all the attention given to Middleton following her sister's wedding to the future king in April.
A source said, "They've struggled since. They're still together but need time alone. Pippa hopes this break will get them back on track. After all, it worked for Kate when she and Wills hit the rocks in 2007."
Mustique is a favorite with Mick Jagger and Kate Moss and was also a bolthole for Princess Margaret, the queen's sister.
