"Sex and the City" diva Kim Cattrall went "nose-to-nose" while screaming at an 80-year-old neighbor after she accused the man and his wife of trespassing at her East Hampton, N.Y., property, the New York Post reported Tuesday, citing sources.

It started when Cattrall's neighbors got fed up with listening to work being done on the star's driveway past 7:00pm local time Saturday and then approached her place to ask contractors to cut the racket, sources said.

That was when Cattrall "came bounding out of her home," a witness claimed, "screaming, 'Get off my property!'" The elderly couple, who assumed that Cattrall was not home, quickly retreated, but the actress called Suffolk County cops anyway, sources said.

A police report -- for which Cattrall gave her ex-husband's last name, Levinson -- showed that she did not press charges, but she insisted on a paper trail so her neighbors would be arrested if they set foot on her land again.

A Cattrall friend said this was not the first time the "nosy couple had come onto Kim's property to snoop around."

Cattrall's rep declined to comment.
