A female intruder was arrested at the Beverly Hills home of Ellen DeGeneres and Aussie wife Portia, People reported Sunday.
A rep confirmed Thursday's arrest in a statement to the entertainment news magazine.
"The property is protected by a 24-hour security team that detected and detained the intruder until she was turned over to the custody of Beverly Hills police officers, who arrested her," the statement said.
"The intruder never entered the actual residence, and did not make any contact with either Ellen or Portia. Ellen and Portia appreciate the fast and effective response of BHPD officers."
The property at the center of the drama is a two-house compound, protected by a state-of-the-art security system, bought by DeGeneres in 2007, RadarOnline reported.
Australian actress Portia de Rossi was granted a name change petition last year to take the last name of DeGeneres.
The 37-year-old "Ally McBeal" actress, who officially known as Portia Lee James DeGeneres, married the 52-year-old American talk show host in August 2008.
