Last week we saw Lucero dazzle the crowd as she hosted the Latin Grammys along with Eugenio Derbez. The Mexican singer appeared in magazines and TV shows, stealing the spotlight with plunging necklines, short hemlines and stylish coiffure. This week, however, Lucero's new album, “Indispensable,” is drawing negative criticism. Detractors are saying that she should stop trying to emulate pop sensation Lady Gaga (see video below)
The 41-year-old singer was quoted in PeopleenEspanol.com saying that she wants a “younger audience” to get to know her as an artist and not think that she is “only an actress who can sing Ranchera music.”
