'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Hospitalized for Work-Related Injury

Duane "Dog" Chapman, the star of "Dog the Bounty Hunter," was injured while on a bounty hunt, but is believed to be in excellent condition, his wife Beth tweeted Sunday morning, according the Web site TMZ.

Chapman was taken to the UCLA Medical Center in California Saturday night and treated for internal bleeding, the site reported.

"He was admitted for tests for a possible blood clot following an injury he suffered on a bounty hunt. Duane is in very capable hands and and (sic) we thank everyone for their prayers," Beth posted on dogthebountyhunter.com.

TMZ reported that Chapman was released and is expected to make an appearance Sunday at the Cathedral of Faith Church in San Jose, Calif.
