The 47-year-old singer is in the final two for Celebrity Apprentice, vying with Holly Robinson Peete to win $250,000 for his charity, the American Diabetes Association.

Doctors also discovered a hole in Michaels' heart when he was admitted to the hospital for his "warning stroke." Michaels is receiving outpatient care. It is unclear whether his stroke will affect his planned May 28 return to touring.

Michaels' hospitalization was his third in recent months, following a brain hemorrhage on April 22 and an emergency appendectomy 10 days earlier.

"He is up, walking, talking, continuing his daily rehab and very happy to be alive," Janna Elias, Michaels' rep, said on his website Thursday, "but he has made it clear he is sick and tired of being in the hospital and is ready to rock again."
