A woman has accused Jersey Shore's Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola of punching her twice in the head at a Florida nightclub, according to The Associated Press.
Lawsuit against Jersey Shore moves forward
Kristen DeMinco claimed the reality show star assaulted her Saturday night. DeMindo showed reporters a bruise under her eye Wednesday during a news conference outside Miami Beach police headquarters.
Giancola's lawyer, James Leonard Jr., told the AP he spoke to his client Tuesday and that the encounter was a "non-incident." Though Leonard did not go into detail, he said he expects Giancola will be cleared once more facts are gathered.

A spokesman for the prosecutor's office said the allegations would be reviewed to determine if charges are appropriate.
