ABC has picked up its first new series for the fall, the drama No Ordinary Family, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

No Ordinary Family follows a family with superhero powers. Michael Chiklis (The Shield) stars as the patriarch. It also features Julie Benz (Dexter) as his wife, a scientist with super speed. Tate Donovan (Damages) will portray a mysterious pilot.
The series is executive-produced by Greg Berlanti and Jon Feldman (Dirty Sexy Money).
News of the series' pick-up was first reported by Deadline.
