ABC is pulling the underperforming Happy Town from its May schedule after the May 12 episode.

Happy Town's Geoff Stults: Mysteries will be solved in each episode

Happy Town will be replaced by Primetime: What Would You Do? on May 19 and will remain off the air for the rest of May sweeps. ABC will then burn off the mystery series' remaining five episodes beginning June 2.

Happy Town, billed as the next Twin Peaks, debuted April 28 to 5.25 million viewers. The series' May 5 episode attracted 3.79 million viewers.
