Jon Gosselin’s New York City apartment was ‘ransacked’ over the weekend, TMZ.com reported.
The damage done to his apartment is pretty extensive, the culprit reportedly used a “butcher knife” to slice up his belongings in the apartment, his attorney said, according to TMZ.
Jon’s attorney told TMZ that his client found his "shoes, shirts, luggage, bed, curtain, rugs and other furnishings" slashed by a "sick perpetrator" when he entered his apartment Sunday.
His television, CD player, coffee maker, Nintendo Wii game, dishes, pots and pans were among the items reportedly stolen from the apartment.
A note, “speared” into Jon’s bedroom dresser with a butcher knife, reportedly had his on-again, off-again girlfriend Hailey Glassman’s name on the note, but law enforcement sources said that doesn’t necessarily indicate she was involved in the incident, TMZ reported.
The attorney said that police fingerprinted and photographed the scene.
