New Nicolas Cage Movie Latest Victim of Hollywood Curse?

In the aftermath of two car crashes in three days that left eleven people injured, some movie buffs are speculating that the new Nicolas Cage film “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” is cursed.
Nine members of the film’s crew were injured after a car jumped the curb on the New York City set early Wednesday morning. According to eyewitness reports, a woman in an SUV swerved to avoid a cab that abruptly switched lanes. She hit a parked car, which spun into members of the crew having a 3:30 a.m. meeting. The street where the crew was filming, the always-bustling 7th Avenue in Times Square, was not closed at the time.
Just three days earlier, two pedestrians were hurt when a stunt driver lost control of the vehicle and plowed into a local restaurant, knocking over a lightpole in the process. While neither victim was seriously injured, FOX News learned that one of the victims was proceeding with legal action against Incantation productions, the company that is responsible for coordinating the Disney action film.
But the film is hardly the first in Hollywood to be labeled as cursed. While many may deny the existence of a curse afflicting a movie set, films like “Superman,” “Poltergeist” and “The Omen” all had several cast members that were killed, injured or affected by tragedy.
So is it really a possibility that some kind of supernatural curse could plague a movie set or is it merely a case of very bad luck? Take a look at some of Hollywood’s most infamous curses and decide for yourself.
