They garnered fame as "Penthouse Pets" but now the men’s magazine centerfolds have opted for a different approach and are posing with their pets — all in the name of charity.
Mia Presley has joined forces with about 70 adult models and stars (including infamous x-rated film director Ron Jeremy ) to raise funds and awareness for numerous doggy rescue centers across the country by hosting parties and selling autographed pics of the pets — with their pets.
"Models love animals and most of us have warm hearts," Presley told Tarts in an exclusive interview. "Everyone thinks we’re divas but we’re just nude models. We’re high class, hard-working and giving sexy a smart voice. I’m not ashamed of anything I’ve done."
Interestingly, Presley said that the stereotype of porn princesses having fake everything these days is a total myth (she’s proudly flat-chested and says she has never gone under the knife).
"The industry is changing and a lot of girls feel the same as me," she said. "Being all-natural means we can cross-over and do mainstream work as well."
But that’s not the only shift in the adult arena; it seems it’s no longer men at the forefront of the fan base.
"I have more women that recognize me and come up to me," Presley added. "Most of the time it’s pretty positive, they feel empowered by what I do."
Speaking of women infiltrating a traditionally male world, a recent survey conducted by British paper The Sun showed that 66 percent of females watch porn on a regular basis.
Hulk Hogan ’s recent sound-off to Rolling Stone in which he pretty much admitted to having thoughts of killing his ex-wife Linda obviously struck a nerve with the busty blonde who is now looking at taking further legal action.
"Linda and her family are taking these recent homicidal comments seriously. Linda's attorney Ray Rafool is weighing all options necessary to protect his client," Linda’s rep said in a statement on Wednesday. "We have always maintained that the fear that Linda has had to live with comes from the rage and instability much too often associated with pro wrestlers."
But the former "Hogan Knows Best" starlet isn’t taking Hulk’s words lying down — this girl is using the opportunity for another cheapshot.
"Hulk’s serial cheating destroyed our marriage, our family and our future," she stated. "Sadly, his recent comments remind us that his definition of fair is much different than what the law dictates."
Now you have the chance — seriously. The actor/environmental activist is auctioning off numerous personal pieces and memorabilia from his movies (including that oh-so hot Hawaiian shirt and khaki pants from "Catch Me If You Can") to raise funds for Global Green USA, of which he is a board member. Additionally DiCaprio is offering one lucky bidder and a posse of pals the chance to attend the premiere of his upcoming drama "Shutter Island," along with an eco-friendly car service and an eco-friendly hotel to stay in. ebay.com/globalgreen
The former teen heartthrob also hit headlines earlier this week by offering his pin-up replacement Zac Efron the important "don’t do heroin" advice. But it the 21-year-old singer/actor has no words of wisdom to toss back in DiCaprio’s direction.
"He knows what he’s doing," Efron told Tarts at Tuesday’s Hollywood premiere of "17 Again." "I’m in no position to give him any advice."
On the other hand, Matthew Perry almost dished a little too much to another reporter. …
"I would tell him there are a lot of drugs he shouldn’t do," Perry said, before his rep quickly pulled him away before he could potentially say something sinister.
