Attorney General Eric Holder, with President Obama’s approval, is bringing self-proclaimed Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammad and four other suspects to New York City to stand trial, moving them from the Guantanamo detention center where they were to be tried by a military tribunal. The decision drew immediate criticism from lawmakers and the victims’ families.

Fort Hood massacre suspect Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan had business cards that identified him as a "soldier of Allah," and federal investigators are looking at whether he wired money to Pakistan militants.
Hasan also communicated by e-mail with a radical imam with possible ties to Al Qaeda who called the Fort Hood gunman a hero.

The virus has claimed the lives of 1,000 Americans, but it isn't clear yet whether the outbreak will be any worse than the annual outbreak of seasonal flu.

Reva, based in Bangalore, India, unveiled the three-door NXR hatchback last month at an international auto show in Germany, and now it reportedly is working with a New York company to assemble a North American version of the car at a factory in the Syracuse area.
