As a new season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" prepares to rear its mascara-laden head, so too has Kris Jenner. The Kardashian matriarch recently appeared on NBC's "Today" to discuss the upcoming episodes, and also to pick apart her husband's appearance.

In Thursday morning's interview, Kris made it quite clear that she's not a fan of the ponytail Bruce sports in season nine. "It needs its own manager," Jenner told Carson Daly in response to a question about Bruce's new 'do. "I think [my family has] ganged up on him as a group. Kendall and Kylie are on the ponytail patrol as we speak, trying to get rid of it."

Aside from Bruce's longer locks, the ninth season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" will reportedly document Kris and Bruce's separation. "I think you see a lot of what's going on in our lives, especially in the first several episodes," said Jenner. "It's kind of shocking."

Despite their current status, however, Jenner told "Today" that she and Bruce get along just fine. "We talk all the time," she said. "We're happier the way that we are right now. It's life as normal, except we're living it in two different houses."
