The STARZ network is on a roll with hit after hit, the latest being their new sports drama "Survivor's Remorse."

Produced by LeBron James, the series centers on basketball phenom Cam Calloway (Jessie T. Usher) and his cousin Reggie Vaughn (RonReaco Lee). When Cam lands himself a lucrative $100 million NBA contract, Reggie tags along to try to keep Cam grounded.

"[Cam's] got a heart of gold, but Reggie Vaughn has been saddled with the task of trying to get Cam to understand that, to obtain wealth, it requires a certain fiscal responsibility," said Lee of the show's premise.

Furthermore, both actors find the show to be more relevant than ever, considering the public's obsession with the private lives of athletes.

"It's kind of unbelievable," said Usher. "It's amazing to see, us having filmed something months ago, but it's so relevant to what's happenening right now."

And since "Survivor's Remorse" takes place within the world of professional sports, FOXlight host Michael Tammero also got Usher and Lee's opinions on the recent controversies within the NFL, and whether they felt the organization was taking too much heat for certain players' actions.

"I don't think so," said Lee. "You reap what you sow. [The NFL] kind of skirted around these issues for years … You [sweep] too much under the carpet, it's gonna get lumpy."
