English Fashion Model Daisy Lowe Names Her Favorite Place in the States
English It-girl Daisy Lowe tells FNM about her beginnings as a model as well as her new campaign with the Greater Palm Springs Tourist Board.
English model Daisy Lowe has been the talk of the fashion world since stepping on the scene, and it's easy to see why. She's gorgeous, she's smart, she's fun — and to top it all off, she's a great interview.
We know because we recently had the chance to chat with Lowe all about her career, including her beginnings in the fashion industry and how she got discovered.
"I started out modeling when I was 15," says Lowe, who was discovered my a modeling scout when she was shopping in Camden Market with her mother. "At 17, I got my first big break. I came over to New York to do some castings, and met the incredible [photographer] Stephen Klein, who really took a chance on me. Because obviously, I'm not your average, very thin-sized model. I have shape to me," she adds.
Now, Lowe 's career has taken her to Palm Springs, where she's appearing in a new campaign for VisitGreaterPalmSprings.com shot by accomplished photographer Greg Williams. "He asked if he could take me as his muse, which was obviously such a flattering thing to be asked to do, so of course I jumped at the chance," she says.
