Serrie joined FOX News Channel in 1999.


Jonathan Serrie, an Atlanta-based correspondent with FOX News Channel, joined the network in 1999.

He was stationed in Macedonia during Operation Allied Force and in Uzbekistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. Serrie was also in Afghanistan, where he covered the Kala-i-Jangi prison uprising near Mazar-i-Sharif and the establishment of the post-Taliban government in Kabul.

Before joining FOX News, Serrie spent five years as a general assignment reporter with WSB-TV (ABC) in Atlanta. While there, Serrie covered the Susan Smith murder investigation, the 1996 Olympic Park bombing and chased numerous hurricanes. His work at WSB was awarded two Southern Regional Emmys.

From 1989 through 1994, Serrie was a reporter with WYFF-TV (NBC) in Greenville, S.C. His first reporting job was with WWSB-TV (ABC) in Sarasota, FL.

Serrie graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in English and political science.
