Greg Palkot is based in London.


Greg Palkot serves as foreign correspondent for FOX News Channel (FNC). He covers the world from FNC's London bureau.

Palkot is a key contributor to FOX News' coverage of the War on Terror. He's been embedded with troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, filed from the scene of Saddam Hussein's capture, is following the hunt for Usama bin Laden and Al Qaeda in Pakistan's border area, as well as the deadly attacks on Benazir Bhutto there. He's also reported from inside Iran and on the Mideast including Gaza and Lebanon.

In Europe, Greg was live at the scene of the Russian invasion of Georgia, he covered the fiery riots surrounding Paris, the crash of the Concorde, as well as the deaths of Princess Diana and Pope John Paul II.

From Africa, Palkot has reported inside war-torn Sudan, he's followed the strife in Somalia and modern piracy in the waters off Africa's coast.

And in Asia, he's reported live from North Korea, from Beijing on the Olympics, from the devastation of the Tsunami in Indonesia and relief efforts for cyclone-hit Burma.

Greg has featured in documentaries on Iran's controversial nuclear efforts, Iraq's scandal-plagued Oil-for-Food program and the invasion of Fallujah.

Palkot has received Emmy Awards for Best Reporting, Best News Coverage and Best Feature, also earning honors from the Associated Press, United Press International and the International Film and Television Awards.

Prior to joining FNC, he's been an anchor, reporter and producer, serving on programs on PBS-TV, Financial News Network (now CNBC), WABC and CBS.

A graduate of Wesleyan University, Palkot speaks French, German and Italian and is a native New Yorker.
