Lamborghini has unveiled the Aventador J, a roofless version of its $393,695 Aventador LP 700-4 supercar.
It is literally one of a kind vehicle. A single car was made and will be sold to a customer. Lamborghini is not building one for itself.
The Aventador J does without a roof and there are two small deflectors in place of a large windshield. The rear view mirror stands on a pillar between the passengers and looks over the open engine bay, which houses a 690 hp V12.
The Aventador J's seats are upholstered in a lightweight carbon fiber fabric. Its top speed is over 186 mph. The low-profile supercar is street legal in Europe.
A price has not been set, but will be privately negotiated with interested parties.
Lamborghini's last very limited edition car, the 20-unit strong Reventon, was sold for $1.5 million.
Italian automaker will build just a single copy of its outlandish supercar.
